Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Air Dates (airdates.app) and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Air Dates is a calendar tool that displays television episode air dates compiled from public sources, primarily Wikipedia list pages. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
2. No affiliation
Air Dates is inspired by community air-date calendars but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by airdates.tv, TV networks, studios, or the Wikimedia Foundation. Show titles and related marks belong to their respective owners.
3. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights;
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service without permission;
- Submit malicious URLs, spam, or content that infringes copyright or privacy;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or harmed the Service or other users.
5. Content and data accuracy
Episode dates and show metadata come from third-party sources and user-initiated imports. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. The Service is provided for convenience only; do not rely on it for broadcast scheduling, ticketing, or legal decisions.
Wikipedia content is used under applicable open licenses (see Wikipedia’s copyright information). You are responsible for complying with license terms when reusing exported data (for example, downloaded calendar files).
6. Your submissions
When you submit Wikipedia URLs or other material to add or update shows, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your submission does not violate law or third-party rights. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process that material solely to operate and improve the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Air Dates name, logo, and original site design are ours or our licensors’. Except as allowed by law or open licenses, you may not copy or redistribute substantial parts of the Service without permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OPERATORS, HOSTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO) OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to Wikipedia, search engines, or other sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of Supabase, Vercel, and other providers is also subject to their terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be noted on the site when practical.
13. General
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
